Tata Motors have not yet released the pricing on this car but we estimate that this sedan will be available with a price tag between RS 6 L to 7 L (Ex show room New Delhi). Entire body of this car is invoked from Tata Indica Vista hence this electric is named as Tata Indica Vista E V. Electrical component of this car will be developed by Milijo Greenland with some assist from Tata Engineers. E V variant of this sedan is considered as more powerful than its petrol and diesel counterpart. This sedan was first launched in Spain and already 500 units of Tata Indica Vista E V have been ordered. This company is again having a plan to launch Tata Nano E V, Tata ACE E V by 2013.

Tata Indica Vista E V will be armored with magnetic electric motors with a great support from super polymer lithium-ion batteries. Batteries offered with this sedan are considered most powerful than other standard batteries. The battery of this sedan is cable of pumping 55 KW of maximum power at 4000 RPM and emits 160 N/m of torque at 1750 RPM. Batteries of this can be charged within 8 hours.
Acceleration and Battery Backup:
This sedan is equipped with most powerful battery technology which reaching 30 KMPH mark in just 4.5 seconds and 60 KMPH mark in just 10 seconds. This car is armored with only one gear transmission i.e. forward. Amazing fact of this sedan is that it can reach maximum speed up to 150 KMPH and provides backup to 200 KM.
Interior and Exterior:
Tata Indica Vista E V is the first electric sedan from Tata motors. This new sedan is offered with almost the same exterior features as its diesel of petrol counterpart. The front portion of this sedan comprises of smiling face front grille, lower grille, head lamps, round shaped fog lamps and chrome finished strips is installed above honeycomb shaped radiator. Larger front lamp cluster houses small round shaped fog lamp, turn indicators and head lights. Rear view mirrors of this sedan are offered with body shade while mirror handles are offered with black shade. For drivers continence this sedan is offered with large glass at both the end. The rear portion of this sedan is designed in an artistic way. Tail lights are arranged in vertical shape which houses turn indicators, reverse indicators and brake light. The top portion of the tail light cluster almost touches the roof line. Rear portion of this sedan houses tail light cluster, number plate, body shaded rear bumper and rear window wiper. The dimensions of this Electric vehicle are also almost similar to its counterpart so it can be predicted that its overall width is around 1695 mm, 1550 mm of height, 3795 mm length and 165 mm of ground clearance. The overall weight of this sedan is around 1350 kilograms which main consists of 250 kilogram of LI-ION batteries.
Interior of this E V is expected to be offered with dual tone fabric. Dashboard of this sedan houses instrument cluster which is incorporated with traditional instruments. Some of the interior features of this sedan are rectangular shaped AC vents placed at both the ends of audio system; three spokes power steering wheels, bottle holder at central console and door pockets.
Brakes and Wheels:
This 5 door Electric Vehicle can easily accommodate 5 individuals including driver. This sedan is offered with sound braking system with front disc brakes and rear with drum brakes. Extra large wheel base dimension and firm braking system ensures instant braking without any skidding phenomenon. Tata Indica Vista E V is armored with light weight 14" alloy wheels which is incorporated with fine quality tyres. The size of the tyres might be around 175/65 R 14.
